I had a customer last night that was very unruley and i am pretty patient and always smile and greet my customer, this guy was a real jerk we made him a sandwich and 3 SEPERATE salads because he didn’t like they way they looked (they were perfect) he belittled me and sat at my table for 2 hours running me and running me making my other tables suffer because of his ignorance. Then he leaves me three dollars on a $50 CHECK!! *** was that? Believe me I will remember him the next time he comes in!! Sorry I had to vent about stupid people…
People have to understand the state of illinois the wage is $4.50/hr. My paychecks every two weeks (20 hours) is only $20 because they automatically take out taxes on what they think you make by what you sell that evening. So waitressess make their living by their tips. It has nothing to do with employers trying to get rich of us by paying us the minumium. it is the law here. Also for “C.C” yes everything has gone up in price, but here is some advice if you don’t have money to tip, then cook at home save money that way it is a lot cheaper and i will say it again, we remember people like you and people who don’t tip do GET CRAPPY SERVICE.
