When did you realize that your ex is a jerk?
Can you think of one comment that a partner of yours made during your relationship that made you go “wow, I’m dating a real jerk/a-hole/b*tch”?
It could be your current partner too, but I’m assuming that if you realize they’re a jerk you’re no longer with them 
The worst one I’ve heard was from my ex, when he accused me of cheating when I was out of town. I hadn’t, and asked why he thought that. He said he gives it too me so good all the time, he was afraid that when we were apart I would have to have it and get it from somewhere else! So I realized all at once that he was both an ego-maniac AND delusional

jnr528 – I feel your pain. My breakup with my ex I mentioned above was mutual, tho he was a jerk! He ended up sleeping with some 19-yr-old before we had stopped sleeping together, & thought I should understand since we were breaking up anyway. Then he told me that “he needed to experience a variety of women.” Up his numbers, in other words. I almost felt worse for the girl he was messing around with!
