Can I marry another foreigner after divorcing one?

I have been married to an indian for 6 years now. In the beginning we went through the normal process of obtaining his greencard. He is now a US citizen. For the past 2 years things have gotten really complicated between us and he has turned into a real jerk. Maybe I have too. Basicly we just dont get along anymore and its turning our lives upside. We have been seperated for a year now and things havent changed between us. I was hoping we could work it out but it doesnt look like it, since he has started seeing other women as well
Anyways I have been to india many times to see my in laws. They are really nice and are being supportive and I still visit them from time to time. I have a very good friend in india that I always visit when i go there. Ive known him for a good while now. Im in love with him and he has told me the samething. He wants me to stay in india but i cant. Would their be a probelm applying for a fiance visa after I have once married a foreigner?
I forgot to mention that he was already on a workmans visa here in the us when I met him. He was already on his way to get a greencard with the business he worked with, we just switched it to the marriage application. I wish it was that easy that we were just using each other, then it wouldnt hurt so much. Even though he is seeing other women he is still jealous and even though Im not seeing anybody here in america he accuses me of it. I was the one who finally ended it. He didnt want to leave and it was a heartbreaking seperation. So Ive never done the fiance visa before. Not doing it for money, if was the case I wouldnt be working 14 hours a day in my soon to be ex husbands business. We started it together and Im not about to run out on him on the business. I guess that is why it makes it tuff, we still see each other on a daily basis so comments are always exchanged. If im talking to a male customer he is watching my every move and then accuses me of trying to flirt with him, etc.
